【中英雙語】粵劇演員、編劇要有“一齣戲”精神

Recently，Cantonese Opera Documents Collected by Guangdong Art Research Institute—A Collection of Traditional Cantonese Opera Repertoires was published。

近日，《廣東省藝術研究所藏粵劇文獻——粵劇傳統劇目彙編》出版。

Such a set of works reminds us of the beautiful past about the excavation and collation of Cantonese opera scripts more than half a century ago， and also leaves the precious treasure of Cantonese opera for later generations。

這套作品牽出了半個多世紀前關於粵劇劇本挖掘、整理的一段美好往事，也為後世留下了一份彌足珍貴的粵劇寶藏。

What enlightenment does this set of books have on the current creation of Cantonese opera？ Dong Shangde， a professor in the Chinese Department of Sun Yat-sen University， believes Cantonese opera actors and screenwriters should pursue a “better play”， meaning that they should settle down to polish their own plays with distinctive features。

這套叢書對當下粵劇創作有何啟示？中山大學中文系教授董上德表示，粵劇演員、編劇要有“一齣戲”精神，要沉下心來，打磨好自己的這齣戲，把它打造成自己的標杆。
